Our History
Compass Proactive Health Care was born from a simple yet powerful idea: healthcare should be proactive, not reactive. Founded on the belief that true wellness comes from addressing the whole person—body, mind, and movement—we set out to build a clinic that integrates multiple disciplines to support long-term health.
Established in 2021, Compass was created from a deep desire to build a community centered around connection and support. We believe that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it thrives in an environment where people feel seen, heard, and empowered. Our goal has always been more than just providing care; we want to share in our patients' journeys, celebrate their progress, and grow alongside them.

Lauren Short, Yoga Instructor
Lauren’s Wellness Philosophy
Lauren's practices are built to open a conversation between you and your nervous system, so your body learns when to work and when to rest. Meaningful change begins with how we think about ourselves, so each modality invites self-acceptance and curiosity before effort. Finding a healthy balance between challenge and ease helps you understand, listen to, and communicate with your body.
