Meet Shane Tracey, NBC-HWC, FRC, FRA

Health Coach, Mobility Specialist, and Body Mechanic

Shane’s Wellness Philosophy
“I believe that everyone holds the answers to their wellness within themselves. My role is to guide that discovery by creating a supportive space to explore hopes, fears, and goals with honesty and purpose.”

Get to Know Shane
Early in his career as a personal trainer, Shane became fascinated with the magic and mechanics of the human body. His journey deepened through certifications in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and Functional Range Assessment (FRA) and studying Postural Restoration concepts and Thomas Myers' Anatomy Trains. This foundation gave him expertise in joint health, movement efficiency, and body awareness, earning him the nickname "body mechanic."

While working as a physical therapy aide, Shane realized that traditional care often fails to understand a client’s internal motivations. This led him to pursue a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) certification and develop skills in motivational interviewing, goal theory, and behavior change strategies.

Now, Shane combines his passion for movement and coaching to empower clients in two ways: guiding them toward healthier habits through health coaching and helping them build a deeper connection with their bodies through mobility coaching.

How Shane Supports Your Wellness Journey
Shane believes that no step is too small to create meaningful change. “Change takes time, and sometimes the most powerful start is simply thinking about what you want,” he often reminds clients. He encourages kindness and patience with yourself, viewing setbacks as valuable learning moments that prepare you for future success. This philosophy shapes Shane’s work, whether he’s helping you move more comfortably or guiding you toward healthier habits.

Health Coaching
In health coaching, Shane creates a safe, supportive space where you can clarify your values, set meaningful goals, and navigate obstacles with confidence. Using motivational interviewing and active listening, he helps you uncover the “why” behind your goals and craft a plan for lasting lifestyle changes. Shane’s coaching emphasizes progress over perfection, helping you stay engaged and empowered on your wellness journey.

Posture & Mobility Coaching
As a mobility specialist, Shane uses a hands-on, science-driven approach to improve how your body moves. Sessions focus on activating underused muscles, releasing tension, and rebuilding communication between your brain and body—techniques rooted in neuroscience and proprioception (he’ll be thrilled to tell you all about it!). Shane’s process turns movement into exploration, creating sustainable change one joint at a time.

Beyond the Office
When he’s not supporting clients on their wellness journeys, Shane is likely restoring salvaged motorcycles or crafting custom builds—his latest project involves a 1995 Triumph Thunderbird. He approaches motorcycles with the same passion as bodies: understanding the pieces, solving the puzzle, and creating something extraordinary.
